The letter from Penny has another cypher like the one from episode two. She says the words "high five" in her letter indicating that from that point on in the next paragraph every fifth word will be part of her message. She also uses double periods in the paragraph to make it further stand out:

The think is about Kohler is that he sure is nice. While he is listening, it's almost like we're friends. Other shrinks I have hired don't measure up. One psych told me I needed enforcement with meds.. But Kohler's help might one day get me out of here.. I use that hope to dream. Vernon's helpful, too. His happy form, strolling down the hall..
