Letter From Penny
Warning This Section Does Contain Spoilers
The post script in Penny's letter is a little strange and immediately makes you wonder if there is something more than meets the eye. She writes:
"I'm proud of how the last test went. They didn't give me a letter grade, but I'm not greed for gold stars. In school, I never got more than a six out of ten on my reading quizzes: but I'm real cheery-full, since I made a new fastest record! Math is easy."
First of all it's very odd that she is bringing up her grades from grammar school, but then she pointedly inserts a colon in the sentence where one is not needed. Knowing her affinity for numbers, she said six out of ten on her quizzes. Counting every sixth letter in the sentence after the colon we get the following message:
but I'm real cheery-full, since I made a new fastest record! Math is easy."

*Note - After reviewing the episode recaps, it is supposed to say "release me". But counting every 6th letter does not reveal this message. There is a mistake in this cypher apparently. Below is what the cypher is supposed to read.
"but I'm real cheery-full, since I made a new fastest record! Math is easy."
