This letter from Felix, founder of the LFoA, as we can see on the very first post on the LFoA Facebook page, tells us that he is sorry for the trials and troubles we have had with our friend 1618, and that he is also aware that we were inappropriately contacted by a member staff of LFoA Colorado Springs, Colorado, Aaron de Vaille, but that this staff member has been taken care of permanently and he won't be heard from again by us or by anyone. He says that they have a protocol, Deus Ex Machine Colligunt Haeretici, just for such an occasion. "Deus Ex Machina" is a plot device whereby a seemingly unsolvable problem in a story is suddenly and abruptly resolved by an unexpected and seemingly unlikely occurrence, typically so much as to seem contrived.  He also tells us that, should we so desire, we will be matched up with a new Friend next month and given a new assignment along with the pin that he has sent us for our credentials. The LFoA pin is given to us to wear on our lapel so that he can easily recognise us as a member of his personal assistants.
