With the convincing closing statement from the prosecutor that negated every point of the defence, and the psychologist for the prosecutor that basically called Dr. Henry Kohler a charlatan, how was Penny further convicted with an insanity defence? Did the jury feel sorry for her? They did not want to convict her of capital murder so they went with what they could live with, which was the insanity plea? Or did the jury fall for the act put on by Dr. Kohler? How was she convicted in the first place with no evidence against her? The evidence pointed to her husband doing the shooting. There are many unanswered questions and hopefully we will receive more court documents.
